For the rest of the world, cruising is a great experience no amount of money could afford to alter. On the other hand, there are still people who think that it sucks to go on a cruise and it is not fun travel at all. What are the reasons why some people manage not to like cruising when in fact it is stereotyped as “adventurous way to travel”?

Hiring a Car in Bulgari? Here are the tips!
The following guide to car rental in Bulgaria offers information on six large rental firms. It’s worth bearing in mind that:
• Bulgarian provision for visitors is growing rapidly, and there are many local car hire firms
• The data included here refers to winter 2005-6, and seasonal variations are inevitable
• Though Bulgaria uses the cyrillic alphabet (it’s like Russian lettering), street signs in the major cities are also printed in Roman letters (ie, using our alphabet)
This guide gives a brief overview of the big international hire franchises, and introduces one or two of the smaller operators. It will be a matter of personal choice for you: staying with the big boys is probably safer and more reliable – you know what you’re getting. On the other hand, the smaller outfits are generally cheaper, and can provide many more service points – certainly inland.
WHERE TO PICK UP YOUR HIRE CAR
1. Airports
Bulgaria has three sizeable international airports, SOFIA, the capital city, VARNA and BOURGAS, which both serve the Black Sea Coast. All three are obvious and convenient pick-up points. Hertz and Europcar have rental desks at all three airports, Avis does not offer Bourgas. Moto Roads and Sixt have pick up/drop off facilities at Sofia and Bourgas.
2. Downtown or Resort Locations
SOFIA
Hertz offers two collection and drop-off points in downtown Sofia: the Boulevard Vasil Levski and Rakovski Street. Europcar has rental desks at the Central Hotel and Kozloduy Street. Avis does not provide downtown locations.
BOURGAS
Europcar has rental desks at the Mirage Hotel, and at its “Bourgas Downtown” location
HOLIDAY RESORTS CLOSE TO BOURGAS
Sveti Vlas
Europcar has two pick up/drop off points in the resort village of Sveti Vlas, near Nessebar. These are the Briz Complex Resort and the Laguna Hotel.

It has contact points in nine Bulgarian cities, including Plovdiv, Bansko and Borovets, and provides a free transfer service from Sofia Airport to the car hire office. Moto Roads can also offer guided tours and themed vacations. Its per-day rental prices start at 15 euros!

This new Bulgarian company (launched 2001) provides accommodation and tours, with car rental as just one of its services. Sara permits you to drop off at various points in Sofia free of charge – but prefers you to phone to arrange pick up.
Hire vehicles (almost exclusively Opels) are divided into six classes: Class A has a 1.2 engine size, rising to 1.8 in Class F. Hire periods are also rigidly defined, consisting of 1-3 days, 4-6 days, 7 days. Weekend and monthly hire.

Barcelona has a lot to be proud of. A city literally stuffed with spectacular architecture, historical and cultural places of interest, fantastic food and a vibrant nightlife, it is no wonder tourists flock to the area. There is more to Catalunya than Barcelona sightseeing however, including a glorious coastline, beautiful mountains and a fierce independent spirit that will be felt by even the least informed visitor.
Make sure you have a map detailing the places of interest when you arrive in Barcelona; it is surprisingly easy to get lost in Barcelona’s bustling streets. A good place to start your tour is Gaudi’s Park Guell, an open space filled with pieces of Gaudi’s work including benches, archways, walls and balconies. It is a place where Gaudi’s imagination really ad free reign, and you feel almost that the works of art are more natural than the plants and trees.
From here you can move easily on to Gaudi’s iconic work, the Sagrada Familia. This church was started in 1882 but was not finished when Gaudi died in 1926. Various attempts have been made to complete the work to Gaudi’s designs but the church is still not entirely finished and probably never will be. If you don’t think you can capture the spirit of the church in your own photographs, you might want to check out the stunning images available in postcard stands that surround the building.
The Barcelona zoo was founded in 1892 and is located in the Ciutadella Park, next to the old town or Ciutat Vella. This is a great place to visit especially of you have children that are likely to lose interest in architecture and history. Some of the seven and a half thousand animals on display include pelicans, American buffalos and red kangaroo, as well as a specialist primate collection which the zoo is famous for.
There is an aquatic park within the zoo that provides a home to bottlenose dolphins among others. Dolphin shows can be seen throughout the warm summer months, and this can make a refreshing escape from the heat of the city. An acclaimed research program at Barcelona zoo is well known for sympathetic breeding of animals in captivity and protection of endangered species, which would otherwise become extinct.
The main avenue in Barcelona, La Rambla is a riot of color and bustle with flower stalls and street performers at regular intervals along the promenade. The main hotels and restaurants center around La Rambla, but you may get a better deal and more authentic dishes if you explore a little further out. One place not be missed is the Boqueria, a fantastic food market to one side of La Rambla, with exotic delicacies you have never even imagined.
The port area received a face lift with the Olympics in Barcelona in 1992. The Olympic village was situated right on the coast and the area is marked by the dual towers of the Arts Hotel, Mapfre Towers and Nova Icaria Square. The main Olympic sites can be found on top of Montjuic, a hill overlooking the city, and can be reached by cable car.

Mont Tremblant
Mont-Tremblant is a 4.26 kilometre (2.65 mi) race circuit near the village of Saint-Jovite in Quebec, Canada.
Set amidst the scenic Laurentian mountains, Mont-Tremblant is gorgeous. The track surface was very bumpy, however, and as a result the attrition rate was quite high in the two Canadian Grand Prix events staged here. Of the forty cars entered those two races, only 16 reached the checkered flag.

The Maldives.. In Brief
The Maldives; officially known as the Republic of Maldives. It is also referred as “Dhivehi Raajje’” by the Maldivians, which means “Island Kingdom”. The people of Maldives are referred as “Dhivehin” or “Maldivians”.
The Maldives lies scattered from north to south across 750km sweep of the Indian ocean, 500km southwest of Sri Lanka.
The Maldives comprises approximately 1200 islands, out of which 200 are officially classed as locally inhabited islands. The islands are formed from coral layers and are flat, the highest point rarely being more than 6ft above sea level. However, they are protected from the elements by the atoll reefs, and rarely suffer major storms. These islands together with enumerable banks and reefs are grouped in a chain of nineteen atolls. These Atolls vary in size and in the number of islands they contain.
If you are looking for a place to have a peaceful suntanning and colorful snorkeling and diving experience, then the Maldives is the place for you!
